PAX2

Tread off the beaten path for a local coffee shop (dodging many Starbuckseseses) for a tasty coffee (strong and black, like my men) and a cranberry muffin.

Saw a few more costumes on the way in. Blue/Zora Armor Link, Cloud, Phoenix Wright.

Attended the "Game Dev under $10k" seminar, entertaining, educational, and enjoyable. (Does that count as weekly 'Roids development?)

Main floor! Tried a few more game demos.

Played 360 America's Army game, set for October release. Nothing special, but fun to chat with a dev about their game while playing it.

Talked to the VP from Astro about their swank gaming headset. Specialty hardware for pro-gamers at tourneys/LAN parties -- a very nice headset plus personal amp/mixer that daisy-chains for an impressive local-only voice chat for noisy environments.

Chatted with the Torque Engine guys from GarageGames, and regretted not remembering anything from when I researched it a few months back.

Got picture taken with Jonathan Coulton.

Chatted with the OneUps (they loved my shirt!), who put on a great show last night.

Dumping swag, resting legs, and blogging for a few minutes, since it's only a 5 minute walk!

Back to the show!
