Clarification post

I made two posts last weekend that some people found a little confusing (the "What is best in life" posts below). Short story: James and I drove down to San Diego to hang out with Wendell for the weekend. I had a great time, and felt compelled to blog it at least a little, but between being a little tipsy for the first post and a little rushed for the second, they didn't make a whole lot of sense on their own.
